Anti - Vibration Mounts??

Within the world of anti vibration, there tends to be a lack of knowledge when sourcing parts. Sometimes it can be a mystery, sometimes it can be easy, but it does seem that people struggle to know where to go.

The top searches for Anti-vibration at the moment are as follows:

1. rubber vibration mounts

2. rubber mount

3. vibration mounts

4. engine rubber mounts

5. engine mounts

6. motor mounts

7. rubber motor mounts

8. rubber fan mounts

9. rubber shock mounts

10. shock mounts

So, i guess it depends what terminology you are using, to where you are going to turn up over the web. Different companies describe their products in different ways. For example, one company would say rubber vibration mount, whilst the other would determine it as a rubber shock mount.

This makes it rather chaotic over the internet, the AVS industry is slowly growing into a more organised web space, but it still struggles to funnel customers into the right place.

Engine mounts, vibration mounts, rubber mounts, shock mounts are all the same thing. They do come in all shapes and sizes, which usually differ depending on the company you land on. But at least you got there in the first place...

For all the full time geeks out there, like me, help the AVS world! The time is changing and we all need to embrace the web in the right ways.

Just my two cents

London Transport

Project: Blast damaged trains. In July 2005, a number of London's underground trains were severely damaged by bomb blasts. These iconic trains were rebuilt and restored to their original condition and Robush were part of that team of specialists. We supplied anti-vibration mounts to original specifications, many of which had long been obsolete.
